Through our experienced musical tutors we aim to provide summer workshops and summer camps giving children the opportunity to experience musical activities. Summer 2024
Music West are very excited to announce our first week long Summer Music Camp this July.
The multi-instrument and singing camp will take place from 1st to 5th July, at Music West in Castlebar (10am to 3pm daily). The ethos of Music West encourages playing and performing music together in groups, or an orchestra setting. We will be providing and creating opportunities for making music, having fun, and meeting new friends.
The summer camp will focus on learning the music from the movie and musicals of Mamma Mia and the Greatest Showman in a fun and relaxed setting with the performance on the last day of the camp.
Young people age 7 to 18 who play a musical instrument or sing and want to explore the musicmaking further are welcome. There will be room for experienced musicians and complete beginners. All that’s required is an openness to play music with others:-)
